The remarkable Pearl Piccolo PFP-105E is the culmination of years of exploration and research into the creation of a totally new material - Grenaditte. Grenaditte is a material with excellent sound qualities and it is impervious to fluctuations in temperature and humidity. There are two different bulb design headjoints available with this piccolo, the "High Wave" (PFP-105E) or the "Straight Style" (PFP-105ES) headjoint. The Straight Style headjoint provides more resistance compared to the High Wave headjoint.

Optionally, the 105-series piccolo is available with Omnipads (PFP-105E/OM). The advantage of Omnipads compared to regular fish skin pads is that they are impervious to moisture. These durable synthetic pads also produce a rich sound.

French pointed arms belong to the basic design as well as a Pinless Mechanism and the One-Piece Core-Bar construction.

Exact intonation, superb sound quality and an exceptionally wide dynamic spectrum make this instrument interesting not only for beginners.
