Biography

Born in Irún 1966. When he was 5 years old he started in the Music by his father's hand and when he was 9 years old he began began his studies of Flute with D. Primitivo Azpiazu. In 1984 finishes the career of Flute obtaining Honour Qualifications and First Prize End of Upper Degree in the Superior Conservatoire of Music of  Saint Sebastián with the professor D. Teodoro Mtnez. De Lecea. Continued his studies of Flute in Bayona (France) with Jean Pierre Chambón, Professor of "L'École National Of Musique" of Bayona, and in Spain with Carlos Rosat, professor of the Or.S.And. Between 1998 and 2002 he took Masterclasses in Madrid with Antonio Arias, Professor of the Spain National Orchestra and of the Madrid"s Real Conservatorio Superior de Musica. Took part as active student in distinct courses of summer with important professors such as Carreres, S. Gratacós, Ch. Lardé, To. Marion Or Magdalena Martínez.. In 1983 won the "I Contest of Young Interpreters" organized by the C.A.P. of Guipúzcoa. Was finalist in 1987 at the "III Contest Yamaha of Spain" celebrated in Vitoria.In 1995 named by the University of the Basque Country in Learning sciences. Co-Author of a method of flute in 2 Volumes on the pedagogy of the flute. Organized and directed during 4 years the Meetings of Flute in Euskal Herria with professors like Antonio Arias, Juana Guillem, Vicens Prats, Jaime Martín or Salvador Espasa. Founder of the "Quintet of Wind Jesús Arambarri" and of the Orchestra of Flutes of Euskal Herria. Professor of Flute of the School of Music "Jesús Arambarri" between the courses 1991 to the 1997. He has collaborated in numerous occasions with the Euskadi Symphonic Orchestra, Bilbao Symphonic Orchestra and Spain National of Spain. With several concerts in many European countries he either performed as a soloist or in chamber music ensembles. Together with Antonio Arias and Diego Crespo he founded a trio for two flutes and piano, performing concerts all over Spain. In March 2008 he performed by first time in Spain the "Concert for flute and band" of Mike Mower in Bilbao's Arriaga Theater besides the Municipal Band of Bilbao, in which he plays the solo flute by contest opposition from 1984. In September of 2008 he was named Knight of the Very Real, Illustrate and Venerable Order of the Knights of Traverso by the Gran Maestre Claudi Arimany. He knows and studies the phenomenons Kirlian, realizes a wide labour of investigation that enters him in the world of the physical elementary through the fires of Saint Telmo. Four outstanding handmade headjoints are available: Forte, Vivo, Calore and Vivace.

These elegant and perfect handmade engravings are possible on the keys and lip-plate.

The 18K Maesta flute is optionally available with gold plating. This brings a warm and dark element in the sound.

The tone holes are available either drawn or soldered.

Pointed arms both increase the stability and enhance the quality of the mechanism.

The 18K Maesta flute has an optional split E-mechanism that allows for secure attacks and smooth slurs to the third octave E.

Available with E-mechanism lever.

All models are available with in-line or off-set G key.

The C# trill key makes many trill fingerings easier and lets the high G#3 speak better. It also improves the intonation of both C#2 and C#3.

The One-Piece Core-Bar construction results in more playing comfort and less wear of the mechanism.

The G/A trill key makes the G3/A3 trill speak better (not possible in combination with the C# trill key).

The Pinless Mechanism ensures the stable connection of the mechanism and prevents it from corrosion.

The ergonomic D# roller simplifies movement of the right hand little finger.
